The Egyptian Valencia is the workhorse of Mediterranean citrus exports. Medium-sized, lightly seeded, with bright orange skin and a thin to medium peel. Brix is consistently high and acidity is balanced — making it the world-standard juicing variety, equally at home in retail bags and at industrial juice extractors. Egypt's Valencia season bridges the gap before Spanish supply arrives and before Southern Hemisphere fruit lands, giving European processors and retailers a four-month window of reliable Mediterranean supply.
