▸ About this program

Origin character, audited soil, packed to spec.

Egyptian mango is a multi-variety category, not a single product. Programs are built per market and per application: Keitt for EU retail (long shelf life), Awees and Sukarya for GCC specialty channels (aromatic, sweet), Zebdia and Tymor for processing volume, Alfons and Senara for mid-season aromatic profiles. The export window opens in July and runs into November. Cold chain is critical — never below 12 °C or chilling injury sets in. Air shipment is the standard for premium retail launches; sea reefer for volume programs.

▸ Frequently asked

Buyer questions, answered.

Which Egyptian mango variety is best for EU retail?

Keitt is the standard choice for EU retail because it has the longest shelf life and most predictable ripening. We pack Keitt under closed cartons with single-layer tray inserts for retail-ready presentation.

Why is mango cold chain so sensitive?

Mango sustains chilling injury below 12 °C — the flesh discolours and ripening stalls. We pre-cool to 12–13 °C and never go lower, even during reefer transit.
